About

The boy’s name was Michael, and he liked anime girls, but not real girls. Morally, this was correct since he needed to be honest with himself. However, Michael started rejecting reality and believing he was an anime girl. He locked himself in his bedroom and acted as if everything outside were not real and only the life inside his room was important. The boy became very thin and anxious because of a lack of food and nutrition. He only ate soup made only out of water because then the soup was lighter to carry to his room. “I will never forget December 10th at night; I saw myself in the mirror staring back at me through my thin limbs... I knew it right away: I had found myself!” recalls Michaels like it happened yesterday. But the thing is. The next day, when Michael woke up from bed, there was no magic or sudden mutation; nothing happened. He was still thin, still not anime. So he continued believing this was real even though no one else could see it or appreciate it anymore, not even his parents, who seemed to be more worried about where the food wasn’t disappearing to. After many years of living in “the world behind the mirror,” Michael finally made up the idea of making a jar with himself inside it and staring at it for hours every day until his body contorted into that anime body he always wanted. His family had to take him away because he would just piss on them while telling them repeatedly about how the world behind the mirror was so much better than this one. The end.
