White Page Gallery/s [intro]

White Page Gallery/s began as a simple idea: turning an empty browser window into a gallery space, free and open to anyone who wanted to host art without walls, without borders, without permission from gatekeepers. What started as my gesture then became a growing, decentralised and distributed network of independent webpage/galleries — each equal, autonomous, and yet deeply connected.

For me, curating here is not about power or ownership. It is about taking care of artists, of ideas, of each other. It is co-curating, where everyone involved shares responsibility and agency. It is an act of kindness, a refusal to let art be confined to exclusive spaces or transactional values alone.

The White Page Gallery/s operated on a principle of mutuality: business as a shared resource, not competition. We exchange visibility, knowledge, and support. We open our “pages” so others can fill them, knowing the act of hosting is as important as the art itself.

This was an experimental curatorial practice built to spread social value and create a counter-narrative to the closed circuits of the art world. By bypassing traditional hierarchies, we created a space and made it larger, more porous, more inclusive. Every White Page Gallery was a unique voice in a chorus, and together we compose an ever-changing, collective exhibition — an art world built not on scarcity, but on generosity.

I am working to bring the network back online and involve more people in the project. Unfortunately, due to some critical communications and intentions failures, and the experimental nature of the project, many pages went offline, and some dropped out of the network. Hopefully, new pages will become available, and more artists and art will be featured.
