OLEA

OLEA consists of the production of a new olive oil that contains the code of a smart contract, synthesised and produced in DNA. With this new liquid, Solimán López is developing a series of NFTs, sculptures, audiovisuals and installations.

OLEA proposes a space for reflection and a rapprochement of species, concepts, economies, societies and information flows that converge into a single fluid – Olive oil. 

The project represents a historic innovation in contemporary art and in agriculture, biologically connecting two of the most important historical economies, crypto and agriculture.

In a second stage the project is presents a series of autogenerated NFTs produced by OLEA token itself.

The project has been developed in collaboration with the Instituto de la Grasa Sevilla that belongs to CSIC, with the support of Instituto Espronceda, ESAT (Escuela Superior de Arte y Tecnología).

The initial OLEA Token has been created by Blue Room Innovation company.
