My atypical practice with digital media explores the potential of glitches, AI image-making, and digital culture as spaces where uncertainty and imperfection can be told from different perspectives and generate new meanings and counternarratives. With my coral project DISØRDINARY BƏAUTY 🥀, I set out to challenge classical ideals of beauty and perfection in the representation and establishment of the self, and of the human body as a ground for building new identities, the dumpster of our dreams. I aim to do this by deliberately disrupting digital images and AI processes. Using databending, datamoshing, and textual interventions in AI prompts, I create works that reveal the instability of both technology, languages and aesthetics, inviting viewers to rethink what beauty can be in the age of algorithms, opening a space for dialogue on self-awareness, and inclusivity. 

One of the central works, D.B. 🥀 | [∆PP∆RƏNT] B0DY ∆RT, focuses on the human body as it is interpreted—and often misinterpreted—by machines. The apparent bodies in these images appear fragmented, distorted, sometimes uncanny, as if caught between human touch and algorithmic logic. They are imperfect, vulnerable bodies performing their pain against the dictates of our palliative society. 

For me, a glitch is never just a technical accident. It is a strategy of resistance against the polished, seamless images that dominate AI art and digital images on online platforms, especially social media. By misusing applications, allowing systems to malfunction, by bending their rules, I invite chance, ambiguity, and collaboration with the machine’s own misreadings. 

Through my current experimental practice, I try to show that beauty can emerge from unexpectedness, from unpredictability, from the moments when technology slips out of control. These works are not just images—they are conversations between human and machine and human, between order and disorder.
