Sharjah Art Foundation - Re|Sound

On 28 April 2018, Sharjah Art Foundation launched Re|sound, a biannual event for musical experimentation in dialogue with the medium of film. Three locally based musicians were invited to prepare original live sets, which they performed simultaneously with a projected film.


The first edition of Re|sound featured Walter Ruttmann's 1927 film Berlin: Symphony of a Great City and electronic experimental artists Karim Sultan, João Menezes and Astral LXXXII (in order of appearance).
