About

In Cathexis Core: Flag, Fire, Flower (2025) I have worked with several AI programs to generate a moving image work seeded from physical assemblage works that I have been developing for two years. It is a multilayered work exploring female identity, myth, and transformation through dynamic digital montage. Featuring symbolic imagery that blends fire and ice, human form, a national flag, and surreal floral motifs, the piece meditates on how internal perceptions persist amid external change. I developed the soundscape in collaboration with ChatGPT and Beatoven.ai to further underscore the interplay of permanence and metamorphosis, inviting contemplation on the complex core of feminine identity in a world continually reshaped by cultural and technological forces.
