The 10 displays in this space exchange signals with servers in various cities in the world. When transmitting signal return to display, the video plays in order. In this process, the light traveling across the world generates little time delay due to the speed of light’s limitations and the length of the cables, therefore, playing back sounds became echo in this space. This artwork uses slight delays in the internet environment to make audiences sense the existence of submarine optical cables transmitting light signals under that as echo. Therefore, it leads reflexion the internet environment that we believe simultaneous, in fact, is composed of small non-simultaneous moments.
