Katarzyna Kozyra (born 1963 in Warsaw) is one of Poland’s most renowned contemporary artists, known for breaking social taboos through her work in sculpture, photography, performance, video, and installation art. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, she later studied New Media at the Hochschule für Graphik und Buchkunst in Leipzig.
