Hadeer Omar is an Egyptian media artist, designer, and performer, currently an assistant professor at Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar. With a Master’s degree in Design studies. Omar integrates art and technology, focusing on immersive XR media, photography, A/V performances, and video art installations to explore socio-cultural themes in the MENA region. Her work particularly addresses cultural identity, memories, womanhood, and self-exploration.
