About

The experimental CGI essay is a speculative research of the creation of instruments for operating on a new body, created on the basis of human DNA, cells and computer code, which are introduced into the body like a prosthetic organ or chip. Like a non-binary body, these organisms are fluid and capable of changing the shape to individually adapt to the body regardless of sex and gender, to recognize and treat diseases at the molecular level. Could heteronormative medicine be able to match the new non-binary biotechnological body? As biology today still thinks in binary terms and excludes people who do not fall under ‘masculine/feminine’, the project proposes to consider a version of the future, in which medical technologies are created as fluid organisms as the new human body itself, and biology doesn’t program the body, but adapts to it. Today we can already say that the female/male body has changed: it has become fluid, biotechnological - it has gone beyond gender boundaries and become a media itself. The corporeal future now can only be a topic for speculation. Nevertheless, we can say for sure that the body will continue to change and strive not only for techno improvements, but also for queerness.
