Room D - The Black Globe is an interactive imagination composition for eight visitors, conceived as a response to Heremans' own experience after multiple brain hemorrhages . His fragmented memory prompted an exploration of the coexistence of reality, fantasy, memory, and truth within the human mind. In this installation, participants enter a room and stand on designated white crosses. Through headphones, they are guided to close their eyes and embark on imaginative journeys, from abstract concepts to personal scenarios. The act of opening their eyes and changing places creates a unique interplay among participants, fostering introspection, reflection, and projection. The convergence of imaginative prompts and physical movements forms a dynamic experience. "Room D" focuses on individual interpretations of time, offering distinct instructions for varied compositions.
