In This Dark Time

In This Dark Time is set after humanity’s faustian bargain that caused instability and concern in the modern world. People are easily divided into good and evil but the alter ego needs not be so black and white, these colors are chosen because they contain or reflect the entire spectrum. Like the characters that wear them, we are all complicit in the destruction of the natural world by human greed and political warfare. 
The malicious double becomes the personification of our instincts wanting survival at all costs, we are not afraid of the near future even if we are standing on a shaking pylon. This is not a celebration of capitalist technologies which predict what’s to come, the myth of progress is a fiction embodied within the real then the real itself is shown up as fiction.
