The Storm Looming

The film "The Storm Looming" explores the spiritual and physical characteristics of people from ancient and contemporary times. It aims to investigate the spirituality and physicality that modern individuals may have lost in today's virtual world. I chose some ancient Chinese folk legends and reimagined them into a modern allegorical story. The story is set in a war-torn world where a young contemporary man with a strange illness, gradually losing his sense of touch, finds himself wandering in the mountains. There, he encounters a woman who treats his illness in a very unusual way. The work is commissioned by the West Bund Museum.
