On February 1st, 2025, friends of the late Ásgeir H. Ingólfsson gathered in his Prague apartment to share his writing and memories of him as a writer and as a friend. Ásgeir, a journalist and poet, passed away on January 25th, 2025, leaving behind a community he helped build and enrich since moving to the Czech Republic in 1998. His presence extended far beyond Prague, weaving through various projects, collectives, and friendships across Europe and his homeland of Iceland. While we are deeply saddened by his passing, we are grateful for the time, stories, and moments we shared. Ásgeir's spirit lives on in the connections he forged and the work he left behind. This gathering was a small way to honor him—to remember, reflect, and celebrate a life well-lived. The piece in the video is a collection of conversations between Ásgeir & Tyko throughout the 6 years that they knew each other.
