Gradient Tone

Textile sculptures as instruments resonating to the physical force of sound. Specific frequencies sweep throughout the prepared textile, making evident the invisible materiality and substance of sonic phenomena. As vibrations seep through our bodies, and saturate space, this installation singles out two electromagnetic textile speakers, working in tandem, oscillating in and out of harmony, creating raw movement as a manifestation of sound.
