Sun (~8 mn)

It takes 8 minutes for the light of the sun to reach the earth. The artwork transports a disc across 270 ft, slowly breaking up and focusing a single beam of light, materializing light's path across space. 
In 8 min the disk moves accross the length of the 80M exhibition space. 
This corresponds to the amout of time it takes to light to travel to us from the Sun. The artwork introduces the idea of cosmic time linked to natural cycles as a reference system.
