About

The VR film's narrative is interwoven with the confessions of non-gendered performer Sacha Eusebe, a South African artist living in France, who embodies a multitude of identities. Sacha's story serves as a metaphor for the complexity of our social map, where different aspects of the self interact and sometimes clash. Furthermore, Sacha’s political resistance to Western culture, shaped by his experience as a migrant over three generations, adds another layer of complexity to his identity, challenging conventional notions of belonging and assimilation. "I have always been tormented by the image of the multiplicity of selves. Some days, I call it richness, and other days, I see it as a disease [...] My first impression of the people around me was that they were all coordinated into a single whole, while I was composed of a multitude of selves, of fragments."
