Resisting Intelligent Images

This work manipulates intelligently-generated images in an artificial way, aiming to counter and explore the transformation of the subject of image creation in the AI era.

The meaning of intelligent images is largely determined by technology (such as algorithmic models). Even if humans participate in the image generation process (such as by inputting keywords), they cannot fully control or anticipate the meaning conveyed by the image. To some extent, users even expect the intelligent algorithms to generate unpredictable results.

When the implied meaning of the intelligent image needs to be manifested, the author uses artificial means to incorporate their own artistic elements into the image. Through constant transformation, overlapping, and cropping of the image, the author creates different implied meanings among the various intelligent image elements.
