CALIMA researches on female practices of endurance and persistence.
It is inspired by El Hierros sparse landscapes shaped by volcano outbrakes decades ago - connecting the barren landscape and the feeling of a lifetime passing with the enduring but persistent role, women held in hundreds of years and still hold.
