Good Water is a video-art created in collaboration with sound artist Manja Ristić. It is an ambient video focused on the visualization of soundscapes and sound waves. The sound was developed from 16 hydrophone recordings of the underwater landscape in a magical bay on the island of Silba, known for its artistic community that, in the late 1970s and early 1980s, brought together key figures of the alternative culture of former Yugoslavia. In the hidden paradise of this island, the foundations of a new avant-garde and new wave were laid. More than 40 years later, Manja Ristić “listens to the past” of this landscape through aleatoric sound and site-specific interventions.
