Patient Love

Patient Love is an ambient video work created in collaboration with sound artist Manja Ristić. This piece contemplates ambient visuals for the sonic scaffolding we’ve crafted together multiple times in past concert performances, utilizing intuitive composing, improvisation, live cinema, and the inexhaustible audio-visual magic of a cymatic sand plate.

The project has also evolved into a poem, Patient Love, created through the gestures of automatic writing. By exploring unsettling states of suspension during psychological metamorphosis, we invite you on a sensory journey through the subtle layers of the psyche, with creative elements sculpted with care for the environment and others.

With this work, we celebrate an intimate pursuit of love—of 1 becoming 2—as a primal force that carries us all through existence.
