This is time-compressed day cycle perceived through sounds of crickets, katydids and cicadas recorded during my solo hike trip in summer 2018. Sound activity of these insects is related to the ambient temperature and easily forms a sensory understanding of time of the day and state of the environment. It is originally a multichannel installation, eight speakers are installed around a hiking tent, thus the viewer is invited to listen from inside of it. Phonurgia Nova Award 2019 "Paysage Sonore"
