Bio
Born in 1977 in Szczecin, Poland. Lives and works between Warsaw and Paris. Angelika Markul graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2003, and more specifically from the multimedia studio directed by Christian Boltanski. She has been awarded the Sam Art Projects Prize (2013), the COAL Prize Art and environment (2016) and the Maïf Prize (2017). At the beginning of her career, her work is noticed by great institutions, with exhibitions such as "I still believe in miracles" at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Paris, and "J’en rêve" at the Cartier Foundation in 2005.
