[About ‘Digital Sarira’(數位舍利子) NFT Collection]

‘Digital Sarira(數位舍利子)’ is the meaning that I redefine Non-fungible Token because of its attributes. ‘Sarira(舍利子)’ is the pearl remained after cremation of a transhuman who has awakened and ascended before its body died as a normal human being. ‘Sarira(舍利子)’ is unchangeable, just like Non-fungible Token. In my art experiment “Transcendence Plan(超渡計畫)”, I use Non-fungible Token as a part of the simulation of consciousness uploading ritual in the participatory art co-creating experience.

In the first phase of “Transcendence Plan(超渡計畫)”, the consciousness uploading duplication of participant - retouched experimental video art - will be minted as NFTs and restored in Transcend microSD cards.
