About

At a Russian Orthodox convent we meet Katya and Veronica. Though they are not nuns, they live at the convent since being left as by their parents. The Abbes has looked after the girls; she sees herself as both mother and father to them. Life at the convent is hierarchical; the film describes the girls’ playful world in contrast to the strict order of the convent.
