The piece was made during the three months period they lived together. Venla and Elina build staged images and perform in front of the camera and document each other by both filming and drawing. The name of the work Hypinä comes from the Finnish words hymistellä and hypistellä. Hymistellä means mouth closed humming and Hypistely is gentle touching with the fingertips. Hypinä is a fleshly spell and play that unites two generations.
