“Infrathin” is a concept coined by Marcel Duchamp, trying to describe the separation, distance, gap or delay between two things. It's a difference that does not exist, but it is easy to imagine, it is “the thickness of a shadow, a fire without smoke, the warmth of a seat that has just been left, a reflection in a mirror or glass, wet silk, people passing through the train doors at the very last moment” In my project, I assume the existence of infrathin space, which is invisible, something that has no form, that can only be felt in time and is constantly changing. For the project, I am looking at the interiors of exhibition halls of various museums, that is, that very space between art and the viewer, which is not “filled” and seems to be absent. In a series of visual works, to identify the infrathin, I capture the space revealed with the help of neurophotogrammetry, seen from “invisible” sides.
