About
Yellow Lambo is a speed competition between human and algorithm—a techno-cinematic duel that unfolds across a neon-drenched, AI-generated terrain. Directed by multidisciplinary artist Yichu Li, this audiovisual short film explores the aesthetics of velocity, power, and posthuman desire through the lens of cyberfeminism. Set to the uncompromising rhythm of Indira Paganotto’s psytechno track, Yellow Lambo collides digital mythologies with algorithmic hallucinations. Using generative AI tools such as Midjourney and Runway, Yichu crafts a world in which flying cars, synthetic bodies, and dreamlike urban landscapes become metaphors for techno-agency and the fragmented digital self. More than a music video, Yellow Lambo interrogates the politics of representation in machine vision—posing questions around gender, speed, and autonomy in an age of accelerated image production. It is a ritual of empowerment, reclaiming narrative control within the algorithmic loop.
