Miliga

MiLiga (Callme) was originally presented as a large-scale architectural projection in Quero ser amigo da Lisette (I wanna be Lisette´s friend), a group exhibition that took place alongside the 27th São Paulo Biennial. It was hosted at Casa da Xiclet, an underground gallery and cultural space. This edition of the Biennial, titled How to Live Together and curated by Lisette Lagnado, serves as a direct inspiration for the work. The video playfully suggests a symbolic choreography of approach between the artist and the curator.
With a touch of irony, the piece explores the mechanisms of attention, seduction, and visibility within the contemporary art system. It subtly questions the power dynamics and relational games that shape it.
