Summer Garden

The work represents the spatial interaction between visual and verbal narration, as well as the influence of context on the creation of meaning.

The video features a Russian-dubbed dialogue from Jean-Luc Godard's film "Vivre sa vie" ("My Life to Live").

Filmed in the Summer Garden of St. Petersburg, the sculptures, imported from Europe and installed in this garden, represent an adaptation of European art for the Russian imperial context.
