Video-sculptures: Detached head

The artwork reflects the unsettled feeling of being away from home, lacking attachment to a specific place, and the absence of a place to return to.

The head serves as a symbol, encompassing all fundamental elements of human consciousness, inspiration, and expression. In ancient cultures, the majority believed that the soul, life force, and guardian spirit (daimon) resided within the head.

The daimon, in this context, becomes a guardian providing hope, instilling faith in oneself and others, in actions, and the ability to overcome adversities along the journey.
