About

In China, people place their luggage into security scanners every day. The images produced by X-ray scans may be the most strictly compliant with regulatory standards—they are transparent, flat, and without blind spots, serving as a symbol of security. Through the collection and processing of these scanned images, AI—a black box program—has also learned to produce security images. These images will scroll by as if on a conveyor belt.
