Ma Ei

Ma Ei was born in 1978 in Dawei, Myanmar, and moved to Yangon in 2002 to explore the art scene. She became a member of New Zero art space in 2008. Her diverse artistic practice includes painting, drawing, abstract and performance photography, performance art, and video. Her performances often address feminist themes, focusing on gender equality and the pursuit of peace.
