Is It Real?

A city rises from the desert, a mirage made solid — an ecosystem of shimmering glass, cascading gardens, and silent machines. It breathes, it listens, it moves. It is alive. Or is it?

Boundaries blur—between nature and technology, between the built and the organic, between reality and dream. A vision of the future unfolds, not as an answer, but as a question: If we can imagine it, can we build it?

This film was commissioned by media majlis museum at Northwestern University in Qatar, as part of the exhibition “Ai or NAY? Artificial vs. Intelligent”, spring 2025.


The film was made entirely in collaboration with AI: the script, the storyboard, the images, the video, the voice over and the music. All are the result of an extensive back-and-forth between us, the creative directors, and an expansive set of generative AI tools and models.
