n≠1

The project 'n≠1' is a VR installation that enables interactive dialogues with deceased individuals, including both public figures and private persons. The digital twins are created using artificial intelligence, based on personal data of the deceased such as voice recordings, photographs, and typical behaviors.

The installation allows users to immerse themselves in a virtual world where they can interact with these avatars in real-time. The interactions are designed to mimic real conversations, in which users can converse with the deceased.

For demonstration, Helga Goetze, a Berlin activist and feminist, is reproduced. Users have the opportunity to get to know her in dialogue and ask her questions.
