Artist words about the project
" Phytosynthesis is a word play between "Phyto" that stands for plants in Greek and the process of "Photosynthesis". It was made with the idea to create music in collaboration with plants. I used a small device called "PlantWave" that transforms the bio electricity of plants into a MIDI signal. Most of the parts we hear on the Moogmother32 synthesizer throughout the album have been played by plants. It is a way for me to name the process of making synth plant music, almost as a new genre of electronic music. "
