Video loop and the first part of the triptych "Walker, Shoe & Jacket". Making a 360-degree panning shot the camera focuses on the foreground rather than the distant horizon. Inspired by the ‘faux terrain’ (sculptural foreground) of late 19th century panorama paintings, the work explores the idea of a disrupted panoramic view and of human presence at touristic destinations. Filmed at panoramic viewpoints on the Curonian Spit, Lithuania. Thanks to Nida Art Colony. Camera, sound: Nicola Godman
