The Posthuman Revolution – Book 1: SOFF’s Multiverse (Animated Narration) is an audiovisual adaptation of the eponymous storybook written and conceived by the artist. Structured in three chapters : A Birth in Death, The Power of Creation, and The Funeral, the work tells the story of a human being who transcends inherited thought patterns, explores the freedom of creation, and fundamentally reconfigures their understanding of reality and identity. Told from the perspective of a future species living a thousand years from now, the narrative follows SOFF’s first encounter with the Multiverse: a world of boundless possibility, where creativity is no longer merely a form of expression but a force of cultural evolution; where time becomes a material of potential; and where the self dissolves into an embodiment of consciousness. This video work transforms the written narrative into an audiovisual experience at the intersection of fiction and speculative philosophy, combining photos by Marina Kiga, generated images / videos, 3D renders and graphic elements. It reflects on the detachment from inherited narratives and behavioral paradigms, accompanying SOFF through a process of orientation, transformation, and emancipation within a world untethered from human limitations. The story culminates in SOFF’s conscious decision to end her existence as a human being, marked by the funeral of her human self-conception. Book 1 initiates the ongoing storybook series The Posthuman Revolution.
