Beastie Beuys Kunst Sabotage

This is a parody of the music video Sabotage by the Beastie Boys.
In this version, I imagined an unlikely Joseph Beuys singing in English with a strong German accent, performing the iconic song by the New York group.
The song’s lyrics were slightly modified to make them more closely connected to Joseph Beuys’ biography and artistic philosophy.
The editing combines archival footage of performances and interviews with the German artist, together with historical stock footage referencing his past as a pilot in the German army during the Second World War, mixed with excerpts from the original music video.
