Shanshui Video (2009)

As part of a commission by China Environment Protection Foundation, Yang created three print advertisements using Shan Shui style art to raise awareness of the serious pollution problems in China. This work in the dslcollection is an animated film version which was played in People Square Subway Station. The three paintings, "Let the Hills be Hills and the Rivers be Rivers", "Leave Nature Alone", "Don't Let Nature Come to an End", show the impact of factories, cars
and buildings on the environment.
