Incendies is a series of digital works, produced with artificial intelligence, on the theme of global warming and our disconnection from living things. In the manner of pastoral paintings of the 17th century, nature is present in the scene as a background. 

In the foreground a banal scene, a lunch at a restaurant, characters in total indifference to the drama unfolding behind them. Nature burns around us, scientists sound the alarm, and we continue to slowly enjoy the pleasures of life. 

Will humanity one day wake up from its climate apathy?
