Agogalyptic Splat, 2025 Sound and video: Linda Loh. 4K Video 2 mins 2 sec Landscape or Portrait orientation This work is a result of experiments in digital material exploration, amplifying the glitches and artefacts of Gaussian splats, taking colour, luminosity and blur along for the ride. Most people use Gaussian splats when scanning ‘real world’ landscapes and environments, aiming for ultra realistic results. This has not happened here. No landscape or nature has entered this work. The dirty data plays tricks with your eyes. Post-human, post-aesthetic, these splat views are created from inside one of my browser based digital 3d worlds, Agogalyptic 2021, still viewable via my website. There is no narrative. The sound is a mix from the same digital space.
