A stranger enters an old theater brimming with forgotten tales and extraordinary legends to create an original work of art about something he doesn't know but perceives as unique and enigmatic, focusing on the traditional and intangible heritage of the culture of the island of Madeira. Without a word, he falls under a sudden spell that plunges him into a dreamlike journey, where he witnesses the volcanic and primordial formation of the island, the recurring sounds of the sea, the wind, the bells, and other guttural sounds. Before his eyes, the rituals of an arboreal fantasy unfold persistently in front of his contemplation. Among the characters who will populate this audiovisual journey, there will be no shortage of women expelling fascinating creatures from their mouths, demons, and evil spirits through rituals of Catholicism and Santeria, others practicing the laying on of hands, or island embroiderers weaving a geometric island, designing patterns and colors with the ocean as a source of imagistic inspiration, never losing sight of the powerful fable that the island was created from a tear shed by the virgin that transformed into a pearl.
