dear art, oh how I envy you

Film created for 2025 POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair x Cifra 

The theme being future recipes, how do we stay human in a burning world? My response is why do you so desperately strive to remain human? To be human is to be mortal, to be mortal is a devastation. My film represents my desire to spend my life creating art, becoming art, for art will exist forever. Though I find comfort in the idea that my art will surpass my flesh, I can't help but feel envious towards this eternity, there's nothing I wish more than to exist for eternity.

There is so much personal meaning and intention that went into every decision of this film. Beyond that, I hope others gain their own perspective and personal meaning to this film.

This film was entirely created by myself with the help of my brother in acting as my art (the man in the black clothing)
