Stelarc is a performance artist who performs with prosthetics, robotics and online interactivity. His works explore human-machine interfaces and alternative anatomical architectures. He has experimented with actual-virtual systems and incorporated genetic algorithms and machine learning in some of his performances. Some of his early projects include the Third Hand, the Stomach Sculpture and Exoskeleton, a six-legged walking robot.
