In 2005 Dominique and Sylvain Levy started to build what is known today as the dsicollection, a collection of contemporary art from China, including the Chinese diaspora and Hong Kong. From early on, dsl set guidelines for collecting - the collection should not exceed more than 300 works for example - and sharing through social media and online platforms, as well as the incorporation of the virtual reality to do so are a major strategy of the collectors.
