Sharon Cheuk Wun Lee (b.1992, born in Hong Kong, lives and works in New York) is a visual artist working with photography and archives to rethink cultural dislocation. She considers image-making in a sculptural and relational approach to override the mechanical eye. Lee concerns history in the poetics of disappearance, memories in the presence of absence, and itinerant belongings in the diasporic worlding.
