Born in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, Ameena Aljarman earned her MFA degree at Konstfack University, Sweden and double major Bachelor of Fine Arts and International Studies at Zayed University. Her current artistic endeavours exploring artistic research and re- producing conceptual works of visual and social elements of her heritage. Aljarman method focuses on long-term research project series documenting oral and visual history while re-creating a new conceptual approach to introduce the findings via video installation, photography and sculpture.
