My work is a mediated experience of the outside world. We see the outside within the context of the inside, the shelter that satisfies our need for comfort and soothes our fear of the uncomfortable. I create an environment that is meditative but artificial, with elements of nature that lose their particular qualities and become homogenized, altering reality as we know it. A whole new world within 4 walls. 

 If the inside cannot exist without the outside, can we exist without it?
