_Pitch
The piece is exploring the feedback between the manifold complexity of our reality and its reduced, low pixel representation.
It is observing and mirroring the spectators on a deconstructed, shattered LED screen, which is continuously filming and analyzing its environment.

_Operating principle
A real time video stream of a webcam is analyzed with a motion detection/frame differencing algorithm and reduced to fit the low resolution of the custom LED-screen setup (480 x 96 pixels).

_Artist Statement
This work mirrors viewers on a fragmented LED screen, exploring the feedback loop between our complex reality and its simplified digital representation. The display observes and analyzes in real time, revealing the limits of machine perception.
